Nanjing Plum Blossom Hill

Plum blossom(Mei hua in Chinese) is the city flower of Nanjing.  Nanjing Meihuashan has more than 300 varieties of meihua, making it the leading one of the four major meihua planting areas in China. The China International Festival of Meihua is held every spring, during which time tens of millions people will go to the meihuashan to enjoy the splendid flower. Meihua have always been the theme of the poetry of Chinese famous poets such as Libai.
